Jianrong completed a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy degree at the Canterbury Christ Church University in the United Kingdom. She is a licensed occupational therapist in good standing with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT) and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT).
Jianrong has decades of clinical experience as a health professional. She has worked with a variety of populations including those with physical disability, cognitive impairment, and psychosocial disability. Areas of practice include physical and psychological rehabilitation, home care, home modification and equipment, and function assessment. She is certified in providing Prolonged Exposure (PE) Therapy for individuals with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Jianrong's passion is to enable people to achieve their functional goals and improve their quality of life through engagement in meaningful occupations.
In her spare time, Jianrong enjoys traveling, exercising, reading and spending time with her family and friends.
