About

Mackenzie completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at the University of Winnipeg and a Master’s of Occupational Therapy degree at the University of Alberta. She is certified in providing Prolonged Exposure (PE) therapy and Occupational Therapy Occupational Performance Activation (OTOPA).  Mackenzie has had the opportunity to work in various settings including acute care and homecare. Current areas of practice include PE therapy for persons with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and functional vision and neurorehabilitation for persons with traumatic brain injury and post-concussion syndrome. Mackenzie is a licensed occupational therapist in good standing with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT) and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists.
